At Healing Junction, we provide "integrated" health care: we combine western and complementary approaches to promote optimal health and well-being. We believe that many problems must be treated at the “root.” While conventional therapies may treat the symptoms, they often don’t look at what is the underlying cause of a condition. Call us and we will be happy to explain how we would help you. Our main office is in Chicago at 3322 N Ashland #2 and we have offices in the Oak Park and Palos Park area. Please call 800-449-0770 to make an appointment at any office. By offering integrated medicine together with healing therapies for body, mind, and soul, we tailor an optimal approach for each individual. We will be happy to offer you a free phone consultation to see if we can help you. We offer you many healing resources, for example: Acupuncture
How is acupuncture used? The World Health Organization recognizes it for:
We also do acupuncture “facelifts” (yes, it works!). On Saturdays, Shin Matsuo offers acupuncture and Teresa Zeigler is here on Sundays! Chiropractic: Dr. Harry Kahn excels in pain management, sport injuries and more! He takes an integrative approach to health and focuses on nutrition and stress relief. His chiropractic style is gentle yet very effective. His treatments are an essential addition to control pain and promoting health! Please look at his website at: www.healingjunction-chiropractic.com Psychology: We believe that it is essential to work on stress and underlying emotional issues to obtain a balanced state. Greg Crisenbery, Psy.D. practices in Chicago and Evanston. NIGHT INTO DAY : The Plan for 2012 The Raktrul Foundation will support the efforts of the Tibetan community in the following ways: Bring a team from the US in the summer of 2012 to offer additional medical services, continuing health care education and a reassessment of the needs of the people in the greater Raktrul area. Formally acquire from the Chinese government the newly donated school property, located adjacent to the Raktrul Nunnery near the village of Dortam. Develop an agreement between Raktrul Foundation and the local community to collaborate on the establishment of a new medical facility. Identify the renovation and construction needs of the newly acquired buildings and create a rehab work plan which will include an energy assessment to determine whether the new clinic can rely on solar systems. Identify the various tradesmen and contractors needed to complete the work for the medical facility. If you would like to be a part of the Night Into Day Mission, please contact our Medical Director: Kirk Moulton for more information about our needs. We welcome your support. From Bardor Rinpoche and all the team, Tashi Delek! Kirk Moulton
